Dr. Katherine Beattie

Katherine Beattie, DVM, is an Associate Veterinarian with a deep-rooted passion for animal care. She was drawn to the veterinary field due to its ever-changing nature, diverse career paths, and her lifelong dedication to animal health and well-being. Katherine graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bio-Medical Science degree in 2019, followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2024. She is also Fear Free Certified, reflecting her commitment to reducing stress for pets during care.

Her primary interests lie in procedural and surgical aspects, diagnostic imaging, and senior pet care, where she finds fulfillment in supporting the human-animal bond through compassionate care and client education. Katherine particularly loves the hands-on problem-solving in her role and values forming strong connections with clients and their pets. A fun fact about her is that she appeared in a Reklaws music video, a local country band, showcasing her vibrant personality. Outside the clinic, Katherine leads an active lifestyle, enjoying running, cycling, CrossFit, and playing on a community softball team.
